Speaking from 23 years of mom experience, it's not unusual for moms to feel unhinged. We joke about it because, if we didn't laugh, we might just cry. Okay, let's be real... we often cry, too.
If you are anything like me, you benefit from a mom refresh now and then. I know that I am a much better mom after I take some time for myself. Whether that's a solo trip to Starbies, a night out with my fellow mom friends (my Mosse = Mom Posse), or staying in the car for an extra 30 minutes, the end result is usually the same. I feel better equipped to handle the mom stuff that life throws at me.
What better way to refresh and have some serious fun than to spend some time with other moms who are unhinged, irritated, and FUNNY?
Join us on May for a night of laughter as we explore everything from motherhood, midlife crisis, marriage, divorce, online dating, and other things that irritate us. Men are welcome to the show, too.
Moms Unhinged has been selling out shows all over the country and is returning to Lakewood for a special performance. You can expect clean(ish) comedy and a fun night out with your girlfriends, drinking club (errrr... I mean book club), neighborhood group, or your own mom.
Join Jene’ Suplee, Janae Burris, and special headliner Nancy Norton onstage at the Lakewood Cultural Center for one night only. Don't miss your chance to spend some time with your fellow unhinged moms so you can go back to those little monsters (errr... I mean kids) with a refreshed spirit.

ABOUT THE UNHINGED MOMS PERFORMERS
Nancy Norton
Nancy Norton is a crowd favorite and a Bicoastal Comedy Champion! Nancy’s High Energy, Intuitive and Engaging style lead her to be crowned Champion of the 40th Seattle International Comedy Competition and awarded FIRST FEMALE WINNER of the Boston Comedy Festival. Featured on a Dry Bar Comedy Special, Netflix, Amazon Prime, A&E, NickMom Night Out, PBS and has several viral videos on social media. Norton is a former nurse who is certified in therapeutic humor, bringing healing energy to audiences with uplifting material hilarious to folks from all walks of life.
Jené Suplee
Jené Suplee has been making waves in the Denver comedy scene as an up and coming stand-up. With a master’s degree in mediocrity, her unique childhood experiences with midwestern homeschool will leave you curious. Her goon-ish and fun loving take on the challenges of life and marriage, and motherhood will make you happy you’re single. Jené produces and hosts a monthly stand-up showcase at Ohm Brewing in Golden, Colorado for two years running, and has been featured in the Winter Park Comedy Festival and the Rise Comedy Festival. Since hitting the scene, she has shared the stage with comics such as Ryan Belleville, Christie Buchele and Josh Blue.
Janae Burris
Janae Burris A “Pro” on the coveted regulars list at Comedy Works in Denver as well as the 2016 Comedy Works New Faces Champ and 2019 Just For Laughs New Face. She has opened for nationally touring comics Michael Che, Roy Wood Jr., Beth Stelling, Josh Blue and Gary Gulman to name a few. Janae has been featured at Portland’s Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington Ind, Telluride Blues Fest and High Plains Comedy Festival in Denver as well as headlining at Ha Ha Harvest in Portland and Aspen Laugh Fest.
ABOUT MOMS UNHINGED
Moms Unhinged is a standup comedy show with a lineup of all mom comedians (and the occasional token dad). We explore everything from motherhood to midlife crisis, marriage, divorce, online dating, and other things that irritate us. Men are welcome to the show, too! Comedians in our repertoire are mostly Colorado-based currently, but as we expand our network nationwide, we are able to include the very best funny women in other cities.
Our goal is to provide an amazing experience for the audience and for the talented comedians performing on the shows. We strive for a diverse set of voices and a core value is to pay our comedians well. Moms Unhinged has been selling out more than 15 shows each month (venues between 100 and 450 seats) along Colorado’s Front Range and all over the country.
